Image Generators

I had the best time so far playing with the image generator! I made some really silly "Allanis Morrisette" songs that cracked me up. Here are a few lines:

Finding Feeds

So I searched the links to find some library related blogs. I tried entering many different combinations of "things" that included the library, but I didn't have much luck other than the casual mention of a library in some story or other. On the bright side, I found out how to go straight to the source instead of googling everything and wading through all of the results!

RSS feeds are interesting, a little complicated to set up for the newbie, but it was fun...I guess.

Technology, yippee!

My favorite thing about technology is my DVR! I am so busy right now because I am a full time student at OSU, I work part time, and I do Internet homeschooling with my child. On top of that, I also have three dogs, one cat and a chinchilla who all need my attention too! I'm in over my head right now, but with my DVR I never have to miss a favorite show and that means a lot to me because right now I'm a "poor student" so TV is my family's main form of entertainment. I need to have my shows available when I get a moment to catch up, or I will never see them!

Two of my favorite shows are Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Pushing Daisies, I also love just about any reality show done by VH1!

Flickr color Pickr

I used the flickr color pickr to find this pic of a flower. I think it is some kind of lily. Stargazer lilies are my favorite flower, in fact they were the only flower I used in my wedding. I even had some of them on top of the cake!

I Like Jellyfish

Jellyfish are my "spirit animals" because they float and flow around everything, nothing holds them back and nothing gets in their way, they also have a sassy little sting, just like me!

Blog Uno

When it come to the 7 1/2 habits of highly successful lifelong learners I would say that my strongest habit is habit number 4. I have a lot of confidence in myself as a learner. Mostly I would say this because I have been a student for the last 8 years! I also plan on going for another 2 1/2 years to earn a masters in Comparative Religion!! Of all the habits listed on learn and play, the only one which gives me a whiff of the sinister is turning problems into challenges. I tend to instead mutter, as Sponge Bob would say "sentence enhancers", under my breath, and pout for a little bit. But, I bounce back quickly, and move on to the next obstacle!
